PROPOSED LRT LINE BY PRASARANA
As this is a topic of interest to us, please feel free to discuss on this thread. The proposed LRT line passes through the vegetable farm parallel to the rear fencing of Phase I, JS.
Concerns for congestion, noise levels come in mind apart obviously from the benefits owing to proximity and possibly Property value.
Please provide your thoughts.

Do you have an idea how far the line will be from the fence line ( in meters)?.

Went through the published documents (on the net) but it was difficult to scale up. Need to get someone to estimate the distance and I will be able to give an insight on the possible impacts.

By using the house depth as a reference depth, I make out the station elevated structure to be about 70 meters away from the fence line. I am asuming the rest ( in yellow) is the road access circulation and parking.
At the station point the noise of the trains coming and going out is at the lower end and I think will have a minimal impact, as for the vibration of the trains and because of the distance betwen the structure and fence line this should not be an issue . Anyone who doubts vibration impacts please go to the PWTC station.We however should request for details of the noise mitigation works and acceptable noise levels used in the design. Maybe we should push for noise barrier walls at the fence.
All in all I think the station location is okay and will have a long term benefit. Please confirm the circulation layout ( yellow), However as JS development is elevated we should be sheilded from the bus noise.

Fellow Residents,
Having look at the plans for the LRT, I am convinced that the LRT site has a major positive impact to Jalil Sutera Development. There will be minimal disturbance

one of my friend is a land surveryor has check and estimate the distance from proposed LRT carpark to phase 1 is 200 m.
I don't see any advantage as is not many of us using LRT and is not much nearer from the existing Sri Petaling station by car, unless there is a short cut from the shop lot (walking distance) , but if there is a bypass road , can't imagine you all like the outsider from puchong coming in every morning pass by our door.?? the LRT may not give us vibration or high noise level when in operation but during the construction period ?? and the traffic ?
